Chamber Music Concert on 24 September and Playing day on 26th November.

In 2017 we continue with 4 playing days. Our upcoming playing day is 26th November with a Chamber Music Concert on Sunday 24th September at 2.30pm in a beautiful church in Toorak Gardens.

Members can organize their own groupings if they wish to do so for all 3 sessions. The groupings of remaining sessions will be organized by the convenor once members have replied that they wish to attend those sessions.
Streaming videos of our playing days have now replaced the previous downloadable video files, which took far too long to load. People were experiencing difficulty in viewing the footages. The streamed videos should now start playing within a few seconds of opening the web page.

Following a suggestion from a new member, we have clarified the directions on this website for finding our playing venue. There is now an interactive Google map, an aerial photo, and detailed directions to our door. View this here.

On 26th July 2009 a group played the Mozart string quintet in C major. A video clip of part of the 4th movement, and some other photos can be viewed from this page.
In the afternoon session, another group of six played Schubert's Octet in F. How? You may ask! Unfortunately, they had neither a cellist nor a double bass player. You can see a brief cine clip of part of the 5th movement from this page.
